BET Hip Hop Awards 2009
Last night we saw what the creative minds at BET could come up with when they put on the 4th annual BET Hip Hop Awards….And while it wasn’t the most elegant production, it had its high points via live performances, artist cyphers and “I Am Hip-Hop” award presentation, given this year to Ice Cube (yay-yaayy). I’m just glad that BET was giving folk prime-time shine last night. Plenty of B-Team members…..Wale, Gucci, and Nicky Minaj all saw plenty of air-time. If the MTV Awards show was the NBA All-Star game w/ Jigga and Alicia Keys, and Beyonce in a “onesie”….this BET show last night was the NBDL All-Star weekend, if them niggas even get a weekend.
